laying ex2 passed last tues with 5deployments on that single day. the instructors are really out to torment us with their 'reverse psychology' which ignited the flame within us. they dilebrately demoralise us by instructing us to action front again immediately after we removed the camouflage net and packed the relevent stores. that 5seconds of transition, everyone was stunned. infested with exhaustion, emotions flared when the instructors laughed blatantly as though they are watching a comedy show.
how nice would it be if there were popcorns. isnt it?
Ex dwarf is 3days away. 2days 1nitex in simpang. apparently, rain helped us in the previous 2laying exs, allowing us to have a few hrs of rest in the middle of the days. but are we going to be that lucky in this following ex? even if it rains, we will have a shin-deep muddy ground to play with and being played with. plus the attitude of the instructors, im worried abt wads going to happen. who isnt?
lesson learnt: theres nothing you can do abt it. jus do it.
attended the my first art therapy lesson in laselle yesterday. kinda disappointed coz i dun think i learnt as much as i expected. it seems lyk im undergoing the therapy treatment more than im understanding it. it feels lyk im paying to create artworks from 'unconsciousness'. is it even done in real unconsciousness? how can someone create an artwork without being conscious of wad hes doing? furthermore, interpreting the process of creating and the completed artwork, with relation to the client's background. isnt that similar to wad i have learnt in Alvls study of visual arts(sova)?
well, lets be positive. 6more lessons to go. hopefully by the end of the course, i will understand more abt art therapy and how it works, distinguishing it from the art interpretation and appreciation which i already know. perhaps this is a chance for me to understand the rationale behind Salvador Dali's and the other surrealist artists' works. who can be more wierd than Dali who draws while hes asleep?
letting the unconscious speaks to the conscious through drawings? i wonder how true is that..
