Ex dwarf had finally come to an end without any sleep/nap given to us. basically towards the second part of the training, many of us were running around like zombies. its funny yet frustrating that people fall asleep halfway while doing their stuffs, including me. despite all these, its eye-opening to have a feel of how artillery will be deployed in realtime, with the complete setup procedures and equipments in place.
next week will be Ex giant. 3days 2 nitex. its the final excerise before we pass out as sergeants. since its a combined training with the gunnery side, there should be enough time for us to rest as the gunnery people calculates. i suppose. whatever it is, 2more weeks to the end of my trainee life!
back in lasalle today, i start to understand the confusing idea of art therapy. i guess the main difference between abstract/surrealistic art creation and art therapy is 'being unconscious', plus that little knowledge of psychology which aids in healing. basically, doing art can be considered a form of self-therapy but art therapy is not entirely doing art. deep within everybody, unconsciousness overwhelms consciousness. be it a dream, a vision, a deja vu that you see. it could be past scenerios which you have yet to react to it, in which your mind 'downloaded and stored' somewhere within, unknowing. or something that you yearn for, something that you hated blabla.. art therapy allows you to draw it out, be aware of it and react accordingly. discovering how the unconsciousness works and what its depicting to you. its interesting, isnt it?
